Sun burn Boche 1000 Acre festival banned by Kerala High Court

Sun burn program organised by Boby Chemmanur named Boche 1000 Acre has been banned by Kerala High court. The writ petition was filed by Meppadi residents. Safety reasons are concerned in the petition. Landslides have recently caused significant damage in the Wayanad district. The program was organised on Boche 1000 Acre property in Meppadi, Wayanad. District Tourism Promotion Council has allowed the permission for Boche program. However, the court never took the arguments into consideration. The district collector also expressed concern that the program has been planned in a landslide-prone area.
