Nayanthara acted in the film "Naanum Rowdy Dhan", which was produced by actor Dhanush. The movie directed by Nayanthara's husband Vignesh. After Vignesh and Nayanthara married, Netflix Media acquired the video rights of the marriage. Nayanthara requested a short clip from that film for her marriage video. However, producer Dhanush is unwilling to provide that video for her marriage purpose , and Dhanush has responded through his lawyer that the video clip could cost 10 crore Indian rupees. Nayanthara shared this notice on her social media page, mentioning Dhanush's request for a large amount for the short video.
We can analyze these issues through the copyright act. Dhanush has every right to protect his film rights. Dhanush is the producer of that movie. As a result of the behind-the-scenes shoot for his film, it's also part of that movie. Dhanush's lawyer also raised these concerns.
