The petitioner's Zerodha demat account freezed by the Punjab cyber cell related to a cyber crime. The petitioner filed a Writ petition Before the Hon'ble Kerala High Court to unfreeze the demat account of Zerodha. The court issued an interim order to unfreeze the demat account.
In the precedent judgment, the court issued to the authorities related to lien mark and freezing of bank account are unconstitutional. Whatever, the law enforcement authority still freezing the bank account of the people in India. Currently, they started to freeze the demat account and trading accounts of individuals in an illegal way.
